Ceramist and multimedia sculptor, I work with porcelain, weaving it together with materials of natural origin — fabric, wool, cotton, silk, and linen threads — to craft delicate dialogues between substance and texture. And at the heart of my research lies the challenge of devising original and innovative methodologies that reconsider — and ultimately expand — the constructive capacities of fine, supple, and inherently ‘fragile’ materials.

Initially, I was intrigued by the notion of animating the static — of urging immobile matter to move. Through the careful layering of fine porcelain shavings, I explore translucency as a medium, orchestrating a sophisticated chiaroscuro that reveals the silent tension within the material itself. In 2021, I transposed this investigation into the realm of traditional tapestry, orchestrating an assembly of countless porcelain beads  across  the  canvas. Through  this  process,  I constructed

dense, tactile reliefs that engage with light — not merely reflecting it, but activating subtle vibrations and spatial tensions that redefine the surface as a living, responsive skin.

In 2022, I developed an original technique that extends the formal and material possibilities of porcelain by crafting ultra-light, translucent volumes from porcelain-soaked wool. By dipping thick strands of carded wool into liquid porcelain, the clay naturally accumulates at  the tips, forming slender membranes reminiscent of cocoons. After firing the ceramic at 1260 °C in an electric kiln, only the extremely delicate clay remains, with a texture that subtly recalls a dried leaf. This approach challenges and redefines the thresholds of porcelain’s finesse and luminosity.

By 2024, I devised a method for interweaving translucent porcelain grains with an airy knitted cord of mercerized cotton, exploring the subtle interplay between density and lightness. This approach embodies a desire to destabilize the material’s inherent order, enabling fired porcelain to transcend rigidity and inhabit a state of fluidity and movement.

Sustainability is at the very core of my artistic journey. I work solely with natural, locally sourced materials, devising methods that minimize the use of raw resources and leave behind only the slightest trace of biodegradable waste. Each work is meticulously handcrafted by natural daylight and fired through locally sourced renewable energy, reinforcing a practice deeply rooted in ecological consciousness.
