Tenture brodée
Réverbération est une tentation d’animer, de mettre en mouvement la matière immobile. La toile de chanvre artisanale, c’est une matière solide et en même temps assez flexible pour permettre au fil de lui imposer une posture proéminente. Et le cordon aéré, tricoté à la main et cousu sur la toile de façon sinueuse, frémit et palpite sous le flot lumineux. Pour accentuer la dramaturgie du mouvement, j’ai choisi des fils de textures variées: coton mercerisé, lin et soie sauvage.

Embroidered relief
Reverberation is a temptation to animate, to put in movement perceptible to the eye the immobile material. The handmade hemp canvas is a solid material and at the same time flexible enough to allow the thread to impose a prominent posture on it. And the airy, hand-knitted cord, sewn onto the canvas in a sinuous fashion, shudders and throbs under the flow of light. To accentuate the drama of the movement, I chose yarns of various textures: mercerized cotton, linen and wild silk.
